"Humble, hustle, hunter, work horse" — the official scouting report on Declan Croucher reads like a motivational poster, and the man lives up to it. One of only a handful of players to appear in all four seasons, Croucher has done it with the league's most photographed arms; the famous "gun show appreciation post" remains a landmark moment in TNT media history. Those arms are put to disciplined use: in Season 4 he recorded a league-low 3.9 unforced errors per match, the cleanest ball-striking in the competition. A finals regular who has worn nearly every colour in the league, he formed a genuine title threat with rookie captain Adam Dickson in Season 4, driving Green to second on the ladder before a quarter-final tiebreak ended the campaign in the cruellest way possible.
