Ranked 16th in the phantom draft. Described by the league's own statistician as "pretty much useless." Champion of Season 3. Damon Maurice is TNT's great glitch in the matrix — the "annual wildcard" whose scouting report noted the irony of a Wesley College tennis coach who "looks uncomfortable and unco-ordinated when playing," and who answered it by winning a title as one half of Lob City with Jonathan Kierce, claiming the minor premiership along the way. His infamous Season 1 quarter-final fill-in for Orange sparked the #justiceforpink scandal, and the accusations of "stat padding, as usual" have followed every tidy two-error night since. A 57% career win rate, a seven-match win streak among the longest ever, and an unmatched talent for winning matches while barely registering a winner. Brings zest, passion and doof doof music. The BTV regular remains, statistically, inexplicable — and a premiership player forever.
